...to end all shinies was produced in response to a request to provide an image of a single work that best represented my practice. A such a screengrab of the iPhoto 'Artworks' album I use when showing people my work (such was the genesis of Stay Gold itself) was taken and presented as a work in it's own right.
Knowing full well this digital image file work would be made into a 'shiny'*, it's pre-emption of production signals an end to the series.
*The "Shiny" series is an ongoing series of unique framed metallic prints for works that exist as a freely available or mass printed digital image produced by the artist, where the work is the image, rather than it's host format. The unique shiny prints are 'collector's edition' versions of each work (like rare collector cards).
