In the context of investigating the contraddictions that characterize our contemporary times, Wilfredo Prieto takes commons objects out of context generating short-circuits of meanings, rising people’s awareness. 'Some greys, red lines and a blue rectangle' is a decomposed automatic cash-machine that becomes an abstract and not recognizable object: as a symbol of the alienation of human interaction and automation of our gestures, pointing out the phenomenon of transactions, banking tricks, frauds and financial bubbles, through the decomposition Prieto takes apart its function, therefore its power.
