Anya Gallaccio’s 'Head over Heals (Barcelona)' is a site specific installation from 1995. The work consists of 365 orange Gerbra’s, which are strung together like a daisy chain. The flowers will wither and eventually decay in the course of time, leaving only a memory of the work behind.

'Head over Heals (Barcelona)' - being ephemeral in nature – addresses questions concerning beauty, the passing of time, mortality and what it is, we leave behind.
